This ain't no 5 star hotel, of course. Doesn't advertise as such, so there's that. The service was very good and the place was outstanding, for what it was. Good pricing, close to everything around Norfolk, VA Beach, etc. My only real complaint was the toilets. They are extremely shallow. Not to get obscene but if you're a dude, be careful about leaning forward on these commodes. Other than that, it was a great experience. I would book this place again, in a heartbeat.
Door's card-enabled unlock was broken, but it wasn't a big deal. The staff let us into our room as we needed to come &;go. A little dissapointed the manager didn't offer a discount because of the door issue. We asked and were only offered a room that wasn't comparable to the one we reserved.
I never leave reviews, but honestly I felt so inclined to do so because of the guy working the front desk (wish I got his name). Came in around midnight asking for a room. I think he could tell I had a rough night, and while checking me in he just listened to me vent about problems at home. Not only that, but he even offered sound advice. That natural kind of customer care is unheard of now a-days, especially for workers running a hotel front desk. It’s something that can’t be trained. He deserves a raise!
I did things backwards. First I made the reservation. Then I read some of the reviews. And I thought, What have I gotten myself into? But it turned out to be adequate for my one-night stopover. The staff at the front desk were cordial and efficient. The room, while in need of some touch-up repair, was clean. There weren't many options at breakfast, but what was there was sufficiently stocked.

Decent place to stay. Rooms were clean and it was quiet. About a 30 min drive to the boardwalk. But worth the price.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good for the price. Stayed for two nights. Would stay again.
Verry nice for the price got a week for 375 and was way better than I expected breakfast included, beds are great with nice sheets would recommend
